About Me

Kendrick D Mora, born on 1999 in Southern California. I grew up in a Colombian household with dreams of becoming a Computer Engineer. In 2016, my father took a job position across the country in Detroit, MI. Being the youngest of 3 siblings, I had no choice but to tag along and rewrite my young life in a new state. Shortly after moving, a new interest grew and I started becoming very entertained with the beauty industry. Early 2017 was when I picked up my first pair of clippers and started to explore the art of cutting hair. Despite the shortage of time due to my Full-Time job at a factory at the moment, I would practice barbering after work and on the weekends. Quickly, i grew a passion for what I was doing. After a few months of practicing in my parents basement, I was introduced to a part-time position at a local barbershop in Southwest Detroit by one of my former classmates, Axel. This is when I realized I wanted to dedicate myself to the barber industry. 1 Month into cutting hair at the barbershop, I decided to quit my job at the factory and pursue barbering full-time. In 2019, I Enrolled to Barber College to legitimize my skill and receive my credentials. After 1800 hours of attending barber school, I graduated on November 17, 2021 at the age of 22. Ever since then, I've been pushing at the best of my ability to become the best version of myself that I can possibly be.
